To think that I was going to start a new plan on January 1st. was just silly. I woke up at my moms with a less then "on plan" breakfast. Followed by a way off plan lunch, and a plate of cookies for dinner. There is 365 days in a year, and if I plan on making a go at balancing a real life with my fitness endeavors, then I might as well enjoy what the holiday had to offer. I did some cardio this week and worked out along side of my clients. I wasn't exactly a bump on a log. Today however, I am off of work a little early and I will have some time on my hands to get down and dirty.
Today, I intend to start my New Years Resolution training. I have downloaded the C25K app on my phone and I am ready to go! I can not stand cardio but in an effort to work smarter and not harder, I have to ease up on the weight lifting a tad. I also have to get rid of the Reeses Peanut Butter Cup weight that I have put on. With doing CrossFit, I have busted my booty and can now do 400m/0.25mile runs. That is an accomplishment in itself. Now, on to a 5k. I will be doing the Warrior Dash in May and time flies when you are having fun. Additionally, I am going to get my feet wet with the Renegade Fitness Plan. It has come highly recommended by a lovely (hot) gentleman (hunk) that I talked to at the gym on Saturday. Along with a meal plan, it looks as if it incorporates the principles of CrossFit, Body Building and P90X'ish workouts. I suppose we shall see. What can it hurt?
Grabbed from Facebook, here is a snippit of Momma's resolution plan in a nutshell.
